About the Fellowship
The Women Techsters Fellowship is a free, one-year experiential learning program designed to empower young women across Africa with high-demand technology skills. The fellowship aims to bridge the digital gender gap and ensure equal access to opportunities for women and girls in the technology ecosystem.
Program Structure
The fellowship is structured into two impactful phases:
- Technical and Soft Skills Training (First 6 Months)
- Participants undergo intensive training in both technical and soft skills to build a solid foundation for their tech careers.
- Practical Work Experience (Last 6 Months)
- Participants gain hands-on experience through internships, freelancing, volunteering, entrepreneurship, and mentoring opportunities.
- This phase focuses on applying newly acquired skills in real-world scenarios.
